Why it exists

I was finishing books and forgetting everything in them within a week. Kindle highlights sat unreviewed, voice memos piled up, and the best lines from podcasts disappeared into my notes app. I needed one place — fast to capture, easy to search, and designed to resurface ideas I'd already paid attention to. So I built it.

How it works

QuoteVault is a mobile-first PWA organized around two capture modes: quotes and stories. Quotes log the exact line — with source, author, channel tag, and custom labels. Stories hold longer personal reflections and lessons. A full-text search and filter system lets you find anything across your vault by channel, tag, or keyword. The Daily tab resurfaces one quote each morning using a recency-weighted random algorithm, so newer captures appear more often without crowding out older ones. Firebase handles auth and cloud sync; a demo mode serves static data for the public embed.
